Previously Gingiss Atlanta for 35 years, Savvi Formalwear is dedicated to serving gentlemen attending weddings, proms & black tie events.  We are the only family owned and operated formalwear provider in Atlanta, and treating you like family is what sets us apart.  We’re also the only formalwear specialist in Atlanta that cleans, produces and stores 100% of our merchandise in town.  So fly in your guests, not your tuxedos and leave the formalwear to us.

The stores are still owned and operated by the same family that opened them in 1969.  In 2003, the owners of the Gingiss name in Chicago filed for bankruptcy and dissolved the franchise system.  The Atlanta operation was financially stable and healthy, and joined a co-operative of the strongest formalwear retailers in the country called Savvi Formalwear.  Savvi's co-operative is managed by CCA Global Partners, founded in 1996.  The cooperative model allows us to realize large company benefits regarding such things as buying power, resource pooling, and national branding, while simultaneously providing the exacting levels of customer service only possible with local, entrepreneurial ownership.
